Ryan's first day at the boat

Once upon a time, Ryan and Mummy and Ellijah and Kena went on the boat. The pirate boat. It was very fun. You want to come? It was very rainy and windy and big waves.
This is the part of the boat where the ropes hold up the sails.
The lady is very talky and she is telling us about the boat.
I am rowing the boat. And it was very funny. The man said if I crash I would get in big trouble.
THis is my bruffer rowing the boat too. Ellijah with Ryan.
Ryan was drawing lines for art in Monday school. The lines on the boat in this photo look like my art.
This is Kena with Ryan in the picture with Ellijah and Mummy. We are watching the waves.
Ryan and Ellijah are pulling and pulling and pulling and pulling the ropes. The stuff comes up, the people, the captains. The end

  1. Sounds like all of you had loads of fun. We saw some of these big, big ships in Hamilton this summer too.....but we didn't get to row them. I hope you didn't crash and get into big trouble.

  2. What fun to go on a pirate ship like that, Ryan! I got to go on some this summer with my husband and baby boy when they came to visit our city. Isn't it neat to see how it all works?

  3. Ryan, that boat looks awesome! We've never been on a big boat like that before. Did you get to see any of their sails that go on the big masts? It looks like a great adventure!

I wonder if you could tell us about a normal school day for you in a post sometime. It would be fun to know what books you use, what you do in the morning and afternoon.

  4. Hello Ryan,
Wow! , what exciting fun you have. Is that the boat that Captain Cook sail around the world in and discovered Australia? Its very hard work to sail a big boat. You just don't sail it but it has to be kept clean to so the worker have to scrub the deck, and that's hard work to. Hope you have another good day :)
